Following the success of yesterday's lomo effect tutorial, I decided to explore other digital lomography tutorials.

I chose this one from digital photography school and, again, produced great results.
In this one, the cross-processing effect of film lomography is more evident, and the fabulous vignetting and colour effects are present.
The tutorial was fairly easy to follow, so have a go!

Ah, a lomographer! I have to say, I'm still pretty cautious about photoshopping photos to give them the 'lomo' effect - I think part of the joy of analogue photography is the 'happy accidents' that can happen along the way. I'm not saying that you can't go a long way to replicate the effects, but it's the mix of intention and accident that I love, and it happens with every photo you take :)
I've literally JUST started a lomo-based blog, it's at http://developingsolution.blogspot.com - any comments you have would be greatly appreciated!
